In the Colin Burnham book air-cooled Volkswagens on page 86 you will see the
single cab in Blue--it was the Plukettt VW Motor Company in California that
built this shorty truck--It also had is own 5th wheel trailor--
and was known as The Volks-Toter. Then it was purchased by Randy Ingersall
of Palm Deaert, California-- A 1951 Barn door dash has been expertly
installed - 48IDA single carburator--Safari windows -- and Porche polished
aluminum alloys-- 4 feet have been taken out of this truck--So the wheel
base is 4 feet shorter than a bug/bus --Koni shocks hold it to the road--
